In an act to better understand those of special needs and in a display of humility, members of the parliament marched out in 360 mall with blind folds and walking sticks or on wheel chairs. This event was organized to show what people with special needs have to go through on a daily basis, just walking or trying to get cash out of the ATM. This is the first ever incident where parliament members and members of government have attended and showed their support and participation in such a way. I was pleased to see such enthusiasm on their part and it could build a better bridge of understanding between those in need and decision makers in government.

Kareem Salama, or what he’s referred to in literal translation as Generous Peace, is a country musician of Egyptian origin that was born and raised in Oklahoma. He’s been on the rise recently getting quite a bit of attention from his fan base in the U.S and even in Europe and London. The American Embassy and LOYAC are proud to sponsor a musical night where Kareem Salama will be performing live. The invitation is open to all and the event will take place at the Qebliya School in Sharq on the set dates starting at 7 pm. I came across this music video on dustyco. I must say it’s pretty awesome.

This Awesome Assem, or Arab Eagle. A self proclaimed dancer, he trained himself in various international styles of dance and according to him he has a whole new level in dance performance. He claims, that his dance skills are so ashtonishingly extraordinary that they will create the next “dance revolution.” I think he might be talking about the game.
